OPTION "RI", insulated rotary suspension (Fig.3)
Permits to electrically insulate the load hung on the balancer, e.g. in the case of suspension of welding devices and/or turn the
hanging tool freely without twisting the cable (15) (Fig.3).
ATTENTION: always comply with the safety regulations relative to the electrical equipment.
Installation: insert the snap-hook (33) into the pin (E) of the rotary suspension Insert the cable thimble (15) into the pin (F); insert
the split-pin (D) and deform it.

Maintenance can only be performed by specialised and authorised staff.
- The balancer must be visually inspected on a regular basis (e.g. once at each work shift). Specifically, check the state of the
suspensions (23) and (S) (Fig.1), the fixing screws and self-locking systems (if used), and the condition of the hooks and cable.
To check the cables, regarding rejection criteria (cable replacement), refer to ISO 4309:2011.
(See Fig.6 for some examples).
Only use PLANETA original spare parts. To request spare parts, the Customer must contact the supplier of the equipment or
the manufacturer directly, specifying the machine's identification data, given on the plate.
Do not modify the cable unit in any way; in particular DO NOT SHORTEN the cable: if necessary, contact PLANETA
- Check that cable movement is smooth and without abnormal noises;
- Do not lubricate the balance with inflammable or volatile liquids;
- Do not remove any plates. Replace any deteriorated plates;
- The balancer must be inspected by specialised and authorised staff at least once a year.
Never disassemble the balancer. Maintenance must only be performed by specialised and au-
thorised staff.
The static and dynamic tests (Machinery Directive 2006/42/EC, attachment I, point 4.1.3) have been performed by the manufacturer.
The balancer must be disposed of in compliance with regulations in force at the end of its working life.

The use of non-original PLANETA spare parts will negatively affect safety and performance and will make the warranty null and void.
ATTENTION: The cable and the drum spring are not covered by the warranty.
