7.4.4 REPLACING THE ELECTRIC MOTOR
The electric motor can be replaced as follows:
•
Remove the fan wheel as described in Paragraph 7.4.3;
•
Remove the screw in correspondence to the motor cable fixing clamp (Fig.29a-UCS600,
UCS/M 600 and 30a-UCS900) and fold the little metal tab upwards, as shown on the
enlarged detail in Fig.29b-UCS600, UCS/M 600 and 30b-UCS900;
•
Disconnect the motor cable from its extension and make it run through the opening
just made by folding the metal tab;
•
Remove the 3 fixing nuts and washers of the motor;
•
Replace the motor by inverting the procedures above and remember to bring back the
metal tab previously folded upwards (point 2) to its original position.
