2.2 Safety instructions for operation
Warning! If you do not obey these instructions, there
is a risk of death or injury.
● Read and understand the instructions before
you use the product.
● Save these instructions and safety instructions
for future reference.
● Do not use the product for tasks other than its
intended purpose. The manufacturer cannot
accept liability for any damage that is a result
of improper use.
● Make sure that the mains voltage corresponds
to the rated voltage on the type plate of the
product. Speak to an authorized electrician if
you are not sure.
● Do not use the product without water. The
water level must be between the minimum and
maximum markings on the product.
● Use a water container intended for cooking.
● Put the water container on a heat-resistant
surface.
● Do not use the product outdoors.
● Do not put any cover on the product.
● Do not touch hot surfaces. Use the handle.
● Do not remove food items from the water with
your hands.
● Be careful when you remove the product from
water after operation. There can be hot water
inside the product.
● Do not put the product on a hot surface, for
example a stove.
● Do not put the power cord over a table or
worktop edge.
● Do not put the power cord on or near hot
surfaces.
● Do not immerse the power cord, power plug or
the part above the maximum marking on the
product in water or other liquid.
● Do not use an extension cord if it is not
necessary. If it is necessary to use an extension
cord it must be earthed and the cross-sectional
area of wires must be dimensioned for the
power supply to the product.

● Do not use the power cord to pull the power
plug from the power outlet.
● Do not use the product if parts are missing.
Speak to the retailer if the product if parts are
missing.
● Do not use the product if it is damaged or is
defective. Speak to an authorized service
center.
● Do not let the product touch food items
directly. Use approved bags and jars intended
for cooking.
● Do not let children play with the product.
● Do not let children operate the product without
supervision.
● Do not let children be near the product without
supervision.
● Do not let persons who do not have the
required experience, knowledge or training
operate the product without training or
supervision.
● Do not let persons with physical, sensorial or
mental disabilities operate the product without
supervision.
● Do not repair the product. A damaged or
defective product must be repaired at an
authorized service center. The manufacturer
cannot accept liability for any damage that is a
result of unauthorized repairs.
● Only use accessories and parts that are
approved by the manufacturer of the product.
● Disconnect the product from the power outlet
when it is not in operation.
● Disconnect the product from the power outlet
before you clean or do maintenance on the
product.
● Let the product become cool before you put it
in storage.
● Keep the product in a dry and closed storage,
away from children, when the product is not in
operation.
● Clean the product regularly.
