Installing the backup battery of the weather station (main unit)
1. Open the battery compartment at the back of the weather station.
2. Insert two LR6 AA 1.5 V batteries. Pay attention to the polarity of the
contacts.
3. Replace the battery compartment.
Note: The following data is stored if the backup battery is intact: Time &
Date, Max / Min & weather recordings of the past 24 hours, Alarm set-
tings, offset values of weather data and sensor(s) -channel history.
6. Initial use
Take the product out of the package and remove all the packaging materi-
al. Open the battery compartment of the outdoor sensor and insert three
1.5 V AA batteries.
1. Plug the mains adapter to switch on the weather station.
2. Once the weather station is switched on, all the segments of the LCD
screen are displayed.
6.1 Connecting the wireless outdoor sensor
After inserting the batteries, the weather station automatically scans and
connects to the external sensor (the sensor antenna symbol flashes).
Once the connection is successful, the antenna symbol and readings for
the outdoor temperature and humidity, as well as the wind speed, wind
direction and rainfall are shown on the LCD display.
In most cases, the connection cannot be established due to specific fac-
tors such as reinforced walls or too great a distance between the sensor
and the main unit. In this case, position the sensor and the main unit
closer to each other.
Replacing the outdoor sensor battery
Each time the batteries of the wireless 5-IN-1 sensor are replaced, a
manual re-pairing has to be carried out.
