• Alternatively, you can fix the outdoor sensor to an existing pole. But
make sure that the pole should be stable enough to support the out-
door sensor. To do this, use the supplied pole bracket and mount the
sensor to the pole.
Note: Make sure that the wireless sensor is installed within 100 meters
of the weather station. Depending on the thickness of the obstacle be-
tween the wireless sensor and the weather station, the distance should
be reduced as much as possible. Otherwise the data transmission can be
affected.
Rain collector cleaning
The rain collector of the sensor has to be cleaned regularly (recommend-
ed interval 1-3 months, depending on the frequency of rain):
1. Remove the rain funnel by turning it in the corresponding direction
of rotation as shown (open lock symbol).
2. Carefully remove dirt or insects from the rain sensor.
3. Remove dirt from the rain water funnel itself, especially dirt from the
funnel outlet.
4. Then replace the rainwater funnel.
Note: Do not apply oil to the rain sensor.
