2. Description

2.1 Correct use
The tool is designed, first and foremost, for professional
use. The tool is used to dispense and inject adhesive mor-
tar supplied by the Hilti Corporation for anchor fastening
applications and for retrofitting steel reinforcing bars. Its
en
built-in injection volume regulator makes the tool partic-
ularly suitable for repetitive applications. The dispenser
operating pressure is provided by compressed air.
Changes or modifications to the tool are not permissible.

5. Safety precautions

5.1 Basic information concerning safety
In addition to the information relevant to safety given in
each of the sections of these operating instructions, the
following points must be strictly observed at all times.
5.2 Take the necessary precautions to make the
workplace safe
Ensure that the workplace is well lit.

To avoid the risk of injury, use only original Hilti acces-
sories and additional equipment.
The information concerning operation, care and main-
tenance printed in the operating instructions must be
observed.
Do not point the tool toward yourself or other per-
sons.
Do not press the tool against your hand or any other
part of the body.
The tool and its accessories may present hazards when
used incorrectly by untrained personnel or when used
not as directed.

Ensure that the workplace is well ventilated.
Keep the working area tidy. Objects which could cause
injury should be removed from the working area.
When working, keep other persons, particularly chil-
dren, outside the range of the tool.
Avoid unfavorable body positions when working. Work
from a secure stance and always stay in balance.
To avoid the risk of tripping while working, always lead
the compressed air hose away from the tool to the rear.
When working on a scaffold, the tool must be secured
to prevent it falling.
