ready been toasted to perfection or whether it needs to be toasted longer.
Use as an electric tabletop grill
With the grill plates, you can use the device like an electric tabletop grill. The plates are
suitable for preparing all kinds of meat, fi sh and vegetables.

You can prepare your meals with the grill open or closed. However, please keep in
mind that the cooking time is longer when the grill is open as more heat is lost when
preparing meals this way.

When you close the grill, make sure that the locking latch has correctly locked into
place to keep the grill closed while grilling.
•
Only use wooden or plastic kitchen utensils to fl ip or remove food to prevent damage
to the non-stick coating.
Use as an waffl e iron
You can prepare delicious waffl es with the waffl e plates.
1. Add the waffl e batter to the bottom waffl e plate. Do not overdo it so that the batter is
not pressed out on the sides when you close the device.
2. Close the device and lock it with the locking latch so that it stays closed during the
baking process.
3. After approx. 5–6 minutes open the device to check whether the waffl es have already
been baked to perfection or whether they need to be baked longer.
Cleaning and storage
ATTENTION!

Prior to each cleaning, pull the plug out of the socket.
■
Always allow the device to cool off completely before you clean and / or store it.
■
Never immerse the device, the mains cord or the plug in water.
■
The device and the plates are not suitable for cleaning in a dishwasher.
■
Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaners or cleaning pads to clean the device.
They could damage the surface of the device or the non-stick coating of the plates.
■
Never wind the mains cord tightly around the device when storing it.

Check the mains cord regularly for damage.
1. Ensure that the device has completely cooled down and is deactivated!
2. Remove the plates from the device and clean the device with a damp cloth and a
small amount of mild cleaner. Then dry the device with a soft towel.
3. Clean the plates with warm water and a small amount of mild detergent. If some res-
idue is diffi cult to remove, soak the plates for a while in warm soapy water to soften
the hardened residues. Then dry the plates thoroughly before you store them.
4. Store the device and the plates in a clean, dry area that is not exposed to direct sun-
light and not accessible to children and animals.
