3 Attach the xFUME ROBO Y distributor D50/D25 with the xFUME ROBO complete retaining disc to the cable assembly.
To do so, loosen the two M4x25 cylinder head screws from the xFUME ROBO complete retaining disc.
Mount both halves as shown in Fig. 5 and fix them in place using the two M4x25 cylinder head screws.
Insert hose 70, black DN 45 R into the extraction system until it fits into place and shorten the length of the suction hose
as required (no Fig.).
Attach hose 70, black DN 45 R to the cable assembly at regular intervals using additional xFUME ROBO complete
retaining discs as required and depending on the length of the cable assembly (no Fig.).
When doing so, pay attention to the mounting direction and the grooved profile of hose 70, black DN 45 R.
Connect the end of the hose to the extraction system with the connection sleeve for hose DN 45 R (no Fig.).
5 Maintenance and cleaning
Regular ongoing maintenance and cleaning are prerequisites for a long service life and trouble-free operation.
DANGER
Risk of injury due to unexpected start
The following instructions must be adhered to during all maintenance, servicing, assembly, disassembly and repair work:
• Switch off the extraction system.
• Switch off the power source.
• Close off the gas supply.
• Close off the compressed air supply.
• Disconnect all electrical connections.
• Switch off the entire welding system.
WARNING
Electric shock
Dangerous voltage due to defective cables.
• Check all live cables and connections for proper installation and damage.
• Replace any damaged, deformed or worn parts.
NOTICE
• Only qualified personnel are permitted to perform work on the device or system.
• Check and wear your personal protective equipment.
• Personal protective equipment consists of protective clothing, safety goggles, a class P3 respiratory mask, protective
gloves and safety shoes.
1 Move the welding robot into the maintenance position.
2 Check all hoses, clamps, sleeves and distributors for their level of dirt and for damage.
3 If soiling is detected, disassemble the parts and air-blast them with compressed air.
4 Replace damaged parts and then mount them in accordance with the instructions (see above).
