• Attach the front and rear caps when the lens is not in use.
• Store the lens and fi lter in cool, dry locations to prevent mold and rust. Do not store
in direct sunlight or with naphtha or camphor moth balls.
• Keep the lens dry. Rusting of the internal mechanism can cause irreparable damage.
• Leaving the lens in extremely hot locations could cause damage or warping.
• Attach the ND fi lter securely. A fall from the lens could damage the threads.
• Do not drop or strike the ND fi lter. Deformation of the threads could render the fi lter
unusable.
• Do not leave the ND fi lter in locations exposed to direct sunlight or to high tempera-
tures or humidity. Discoloration could interfere with the normal functioning of the
fi lter.
• Ghosting may occur in rare cases depending on lighting conditions. This can be ad-
dressed by removing the fi lter.
