Instructions for use of the batteries

Please observe before operating machine!
Always connect the machine to a mains socket and fully charge the batteries (12 hours charge cycle) after normal use.
If the machine is only used for less than half an hour after fully charging the batteries, do not charge the battery again, until it is reasonably discharged (i.e. after
having used the machine for more than 1 hour). Claims under warranty are voided if this instruction is disregarded. In principle, the warranty period is 1 year.

Operation of iMatic

Before operation:
• Charge the batteries - Connect mains cable with mains plug (see „Machine overview") to a socket outlet (230V). (may take up to 12 hours)
(Setting for gel and wet cell batteries to be carried out directly on charger and by a service technician only.)
• The mains cable must be removed before operation.
• Fill fresh water tank, 105 litres max.
• Connect 5 litre chemicals canister (see „Machine overview").
• Place brush or pad drive disks with pad under the brush housing.
• Adjust seat position by pressing the adjusting lever. Three positions are available.
• Turn on the machine (unlock the emergency stop and turn the key switch).
• Press brush pick-up button (refer to „Touch screen menu navigation").
• Select chemicals canister by turning the dosing lever and restart dosing.
When driving the Wetrok iMatic for the first time, please observe the following instructions:
• The machine is controlled using the steering handles (see „Machine overview"). he steering is controlled electronically, not mechanically.
The steering is similar to that of a bicycle.
• On the control panel (see „Machine overview") press buttons for forward direction and slow mode (turtle symbol).
• Slowly twist the throttle grip backward (see „Machine overview") in order to drive forward with the machine.
• Start with small steering handle movements and low driving speeds.
• Twist the throttle grip forward in order to brake the machine.
• Drive the machine for 5 minutes without cleaning – drive in circles, make tight turns, use the brakes and familiarise yourself with
the machine.
• Reversing: Press the reverse direction button on the control panel (see „Machine overview"). Here, too, start slowly and without steering.
A change of direction (forward/backward, backward/forward) causes the freely moveable front wheels to flip, which will lead to a slight
side movement of the machine. Therefore, carry out small steering movements only.
• Select one of the cleaning programmes PGM1, PGM2 or PGM3 (for details refer to page 2 „Touch screen menu navigation").
• Set direction of travel to „forward" (see menu 21 [Cleaning] page 2 bottom left).
