Troubleshooting

You can often easily eliminate problems that may occur
on your own. Before calling customer service, take into
account the following information.
Malfunction
General electrical mal-
function.
The electrical ignition
doesn't work.
Uneven burner flame
Gas flow seems abnor-
mal or no gas comes out.
It smells like gas in the
kitchen.
The burner immediately
goes out after ignition.
Possible cause
The household fuse has opened.
Food or cleaner residue may be between the flame
igniters and the burners.
The burners are wet.
The burner lids aren't correctly positioned.
Power failure
The burner parts aren't correctly positioned.
The openings of the burner are dirty.
Intermediate valves are closed.
If using a gas cylinder, make sure it's not empty.
Potential leak on connection of gas cylinder.
You haven't held the control knob long enough.
The openings of the burner are dirty.
Solution
Check in the fuse box whether the fuse has
opened.
The space between flame igniter and burner must
be clean.
Carefully dry the burner lids.
Check whether the lids are correctly positioned.
Light burner by hand.
Correctly position burner parts.
Clean openings of the burner.
Open the intermediate valves.
Replace gas cylinder.
Check gas cylinder connection for leaks.
After the burner has ignited, continue pressing the
control knob for a few seconds. Press in firmly.
Clean openings of the burner.
