Single-direction release Multi-directional release
If required (in the event of a fall or if you become unbalanced), the system
is designed to release outwards or inwards, provided that the user has the
reflex to clip out. However, how the cleat releases will depend on the speed
of execution, the weight of the user, the tension of the springs or even the
angle of the foot, and cannot be guaranteed in all situations.
This type of cleat cannot guarantee
optimal maintenance of the foot,
particularly during intensive use.
ADJUSTING THE TENSION
LOOK X-TRACK pedals are always delivered pre-adjusted to the minimum tension. The pedal
can be adjusted at the rear, on the lever, using a 3 mm Allen key. Turn the key in the + direction
(clockwise) you will increase the effort required to release the cleat. The clicks will allow you
to better control the number of notches used. Leave the tension in its minimum position until
you are perfectly used to the system.
