4.2 - Electrical system setup
Looking at the automation box, all cables must enter from the far
right, with 3 m surplus cable.
1. Function selector (screened cable 8 x Ø 0.22 mm)
2. Pushbutton control, if installed (cable 2 x Ø 0.22 mm)
3. Remote key or password control unit (cable 4 x Ø 0.22 mm)
4. Power supply cable (Neutral, Live, Ground) (cable 3 x Ø 1.5 mm)
5/6. Safety photocells (cable provided, to be wired inside the beam)
7. Pulse control devices (radar) (cable 4 x Ø 0.22 mm)
8. In entrances with two sliding leaves with anti-panic breakout sy-
stem (fixed at the sides or to the wall) the automation must be in-
stalled on the outside to allow break-out in any position; photocells
must therefore be installed to ensure a motor STOP in the event of
breakout.
If there are semi-fixed side panels next to the sliding leaves which
also have breakout function, instead of the STOP photocells it is suf-
ficient to install two electrical contacts which break the circuit and cut
out the sliding doors if the semi-fixed side panels are opened (which
will always occur in breakout of the sliding doors).
N.B. If just one pair of photocells is installed, they must be
mounted 50 cm above the ground. If two pairs of photocells
are installed, they must be mounted 20 and 100 cm above the
ground.
