Connecting your devices
1. C onnect the headset to the HDMI headset port of the Strix 7.1 control box.
2. C onnect the single-USB end of the bundled USB Y-cable to the USB port on
the Strix 7.1 control box and the other end to your computer.
3. C onnect the microphone boom to the headset for two-way communication.
4. Connecting your speakers:
a. C onnect the HDMI connector of the bundled HDMI speaker cable to the
Strix 7.1 control box.
b. C onnect the four colored jacks of the bundled HDMI speaker cable to the
appropriate audio ports on your speakers. Refer to the color indications of
the four colored jacks below.
• Green: Front
• Orange: Center / Sub
5. P ress the headset/speaker switching button to switch between headset and
speakers.
