11 Help in case of malfunctions

Fault
LV103 is not ready for
operation (LED does not
shine)
LED flashes slowly.
LV103 is ready for
operation (LED shines),
locomotives do not run,
points and signals can not
be switched.
Possible cause
Electric power supply is
interrupted. Transformer
mains-plug not plugged in.
There has been a short-
circuit on the track system.
There is overloading.
The connection of the
amplifier and the track and
/ or the switch decoders is
interrupted (terminals J and
K not connected).

Elimination of problem
Check wiring between
transformer and LV103,
plug in transformer mains-
plug.
Deal with the short-circuit.
Divide the system into
several coverage areas and
supply them with additional
amplifiers / transformers.
Check and correct the
connections.
