CAUTION
Replacing the TEBS E modulator
– Fasten the PEM always with the new bolts on the modulator (specified torque:
8,5 Nm). (Repair Kit 461 513 920 2)
– Fill the supply reservoir of the vehicle up and put the vehicle into driving position.
– Use leak-search spray to check the threaded joins of the air lines and the seals
of the PEM.
Damage to lines/cables
– Run or fasten the cables and compressed air lines so that no wear can occur.
– Replace kinked lines.
– Fasten the compressed air and electrical lines with cable ties.
Do not forget the cable ties for the power cable or for the SUB and MOD under the
plug-in connector if connected.
– Import the saved data record into the new TEBS E modulator using the WABCO
diagnostic software.
– Run an EOL (End Of Line) test.
