HOW TO MAKE ICE CREAM
A. Fit the mixing blade (2) in the ice cream container (1) and fix it with the blade-
locking nut (3).
B. Press the cooling switch (5) on the control panel to start the cooling. Pre-freeze
5 minutes.
C. Set the timer (6) to 30 min. position.
D. Press the mixing switch (7) to start the mixing blade.
E. Pour the mixture in. The mixture must be cool when it is poured into the ice-
cream container (1).
F. Put the cover (4) on the ice-cream container (1).
Ice cream is to be considered ready once one of the following conditions takes place:
- the paddle stops automatically once the programmed time has run out
- if the ice cream seems a bit fluid even after the programmed time, please programm
the timer for a another couple of minutes
- The ice cream has already reached its maximum consistency since the paddle has
automatically stopped.
In all these cases please turn the paddle and the cooling system off, by switching the
button (7) and (5) off and remove the ice cream from the bowl using the proper ice scream
spoon. In order to remove the ice cream easily, please remove firstly the paddle (2).
USING THE REMOVABLE BOWL
Your machine allows you to make ice cream either in the fixed or in the removable
bowl. To use the removable bowl, proceed as follows:
1. Pour water into the measuring cup (11) up to the line shown in Fig. 1. Add
alimentary alcohol up to the bottom of the slot. Spirits, instead of water-alimentary
alcohol mixture can be used.
2. Pour this mixture into the fixed bowl (1). Fig. 2
3. Fit the removable bowl (10) in the fixed container (1). Check that the removable
bowl fits correctly on the bottom. Fig. 3
4. Insert the mixing blade (9) specific for the removable bowl and fix it by turning
the locking nut (3) clockwise.
5. Proceed as described in previous paragraph.
IMPORTANT
Never switch off the freezing switch when the machine is working. In case you turn
it off accidentally or the power fails, wait at least 5 minutes before turning it on
again. The compressor is fitted with a safety device to prevent any possible damages
to the motor unit. Should you re-start the machine immediately after it has been
switched off, the compressor will not freeze for at least 5 minutes.
In case the ice cream became too hard, the motor stops by itself. The safety device
protects the motor from possible damages in case you did not switch it off on time.
Should not the motor begin to work again, wait until it cools down.
CLEANING
Before starting to clean make sure that the machine is unplugged. Remove the paddle,
the removable bowl, and the lid, and wash them in warm soapy water. Wash out the
fixed container with a sponge and dry it with a cloth. To protect against risk of
electrical shock do not immerse electric parts in water or other liquid. Clean the
body of the machine with a damp cloth.
