IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Read this instruction booklet carefully before installing and using the machine.
• To protect against risk of electric shock, do not immerse electric parts of appliance
in water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.
THE APPLIANCE MUST BE INSTALLED OUT OF THE REACH OF CHILDREN.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use, before putting on or taking off parts, and
before cleaning.
• The user must not replace the supply cord, as this requires the use of
special tools. If the supply cord is damaged, contact an authorized Service Centre.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions, or is dropped or damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to
the nearest authorized Service Centre for examination, repair or electrical or
mechanical adjustment.
• The use of attachments not recommended or sold by the appliance manufacturer
may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• This appliance is for household use. Any servicing other than cleaning and user
maintenance should be performed by an authorized Service Centre.
• The appliance must be connected to a power supply socket with a minimum capacity
of 10 A, equipped with an efficient ground contact.
• IMPORTANT! Please do not cover the ventilation slots situated on the
side of the ice cream maker. Leave at least 30 cm space around the
machine for a correct airing.
Materials and articles destined for use in contact with food products
conform to the EC Directives 89/109.
In addition, this appliance complies with the requirements of the Low
Voltage Directive 72/23 and subsequent amendment 93/68, and the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Directive 89/336.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
INSTALLATION: This ice cream maker contains its own refrigerant, which must be
allowed to settle after transit.
Do not use this ice cream maker for 12 hours after purchase or after any
move, which might have stored the machine the wrong way up.
Always use your Ice cream maker on a firm, flat surface near a convenient power
outlet.
Place the machine so that the ventilation slots on either side are unobstructed.
Hygiene is extremely important when making ice cream. Before starting to use your
machine, wash thoroughly all parts that come in contact with ice cream (paddle,
container, lid).
WARNING: Check that voltage and cycles shown on the rating plate corresponds
to the voltage and cycles of the mains.
Connect the plug to an electrical grounded socket.
Do not connect to Direct Current (D.C.)
