5.4.4 9 V monobloc battery (for alarm in the case of power outage)

Mounting
For applications in Switzer-
land
1. Connect the enclosed 9 V
monobloc battery (A) to
the product.
If a battery is connected, an
alarm sound is activated in
the case of a power outage.
The alarm sound cannot be
acknowledged; it remains on
until mains supply voltage is
available again. When mains
supply voltage is restored,
the product immediately
resumes operation. If an
alarm has occurred in the
meantime, this is indicated.
No battery is included in the
scope of delivery for opera-
tion of the product in other
countries. Connection of a
standard 9 V monobloc bat-
tery is optional.
