    Nasenolive Winkelstück Tank (250 ml Füllvolumen) Ventil 2.2 Funktionsbeschreibung Die PARI MONTESOL Nasendusche wird zur Reinigung und Befeuchtung der Nasenschleimhaut verwendet. Durch die Spülung der Nase werden Keime, Staub und Schmutz aus der Nase abtransportiert und die natürliche Reini- gungsfunktion der Nase unterstützt.

    – 11 – 2.3 Materialinformation Die einzelnen Produktbestandteile bestehen aus folgenden Materialien: Produktbestandteil Material Tank Polypropylen Winkelstück Polypropylen Ventil Thermoplastisches Elastomer Nasenolive Thermoplastisches Elastomer 2.4 Lebensdauer Das Produkt hat eine zu erwartende Lebensdauer von 300 Desinfektionen (max. 1,5 Jahre). Danach ist das Produkt durch ein neues zu ersetzen.

    – 12 – ANWENDUNG Personen, die Andere bei der Therapie unterstützen, müssen darauf achten, dass alle nachfolgend beschriebenen Schritte ordnungsgemäß durchgeführt werden. 3.1 Spülung der Nase vorbereiten Nasendusche zusammenbauen • Befestigen Sie das Ventil am Tank. • Stecken Sie die Nasenolive auf das Winkelstück.

Wenn Sie eine andere Spülflüssigkeit verwenden, befüllen Sie die Nasendusche entsprechend den Angaben in der dazuge- hörigen Gebrauchsanweisung.     – 14 – • Schrauben Sie das Winkel- stück fest auf den Tank. • Drehen Sie die Nasenolive in die STOP-Position, damit noch keine Flüssigkeit auslaufen kann (der Strich am Winkel- stück zeigt auf „STOP“). • Schwenken Sie die Nasendu- sche leicht hin und her, damit sich die Nasenspülung mit dem Trinkwasser vermischt.
  • Page 15 – 15 – • Spülung des linken Nasen- lochs: Nehmen Sie die Nasendusche in die linke Hand. Spülung des rechten Nasen- lochs: Nehmen Sie die Nasendusche in die rechte Hand. • Legen Sie den Zeigefinger lo- cker auf das Ventil. •...
  • Page 16 – 16 – • Unterbrechen Sie ggf. die Spülung, indem Sie den Zeige- finger vom Ventil nehmen. Es bleibt nach der Spülung Restflüssigkeit in der Nasendu- sche. Geringe Mengen der Spülflüssigkeit können in den Rachen fließen. Halten Sie den Kopf während der Spülung leicht nach vorne gebeugt und schräg, damit diese kleine Menge von selbst aus dem Mund herauslaufen kann.

    – 17 – WIEDERAUFBEREITUNG Die Produktbestandteile müssen unmittelbar nach jeder An- wendung gründlich gereinigt und mindestens einmal täglich desinfiziert werden. 4.1 Vorbereiten Zerlegen Sie die Nasendusche in ihre Einzelteile: • Schrauben Sie das Winkelstück vom Tank. • Ziehen Sie die Nasenolive vom Winkelstück ab. •...

    – 18 – TROCKNEN: • Schütteln Sie das Wasser aus allen Einzelteilen. • Legen Sie alle Einzelteile auf eine trockene, saubere und saugfähige Unterlage und lassen Sie sie vollständig trocknen. 4.3 Desinfizieren Desinfizieren Sie alle Einzelteile im Anschluss an die Reini- gung (nur gereinigte Bestandteile können wirksam desinfiziert werden).

    If the patient is not able to operate the product safely himself, the therapy must be carried out by the responsible person. This PARI product is only designed for patients who are able to breathe by themselves and are conscious. A nasal rinse lasts about 5 minutes.

    – 12 – APPLICATION People who assist others in carrying out the therapy must ensure that all of the steps described below are carried out correctly. 3.1 Preparing to rinse the nose Assembling the nasal douche • Attach the valve to the reservoir.
  • Page 37 Fill the nasal douche The following section describes how to fill the nasal douche for use with the PARI MONTESOL nasal rinse. If you use a differ- ent rinse solution, fill the nasal douche as instructed in the as- sociated instructions for use.

    – 14 – • Screw the bend onto the reser- voir tightly. • Twist the nasal insert to the STOP position, to ensure that no liquid can escape yet (the line on the bend points to "STOP"). • Shake the nasal douche gently back and forth so that the nasal rinse is mixed with the drinking water.

Rinsing the right nostril: Hold the nasal douche in the right hand. • Rest your index finger lightly on the valve. • With your free hand, twist the nasal insert to the rinse posi- tion (the line on the bend will point to the triangle).
