TROUBLESHOOTING
Contact Princess Auto Ltd. for a solution if the device is not
functioning properly or if parts are missing. If unable to do so, have
a qualified technician service the device.
Problem (s)
Motor turning
in the
wrong direction.
Motor does not
develop proper
speed or torque.

Possible Cause (s)
Incorrect piping
between the control
valve and motor.
1. Incorrect setting or
blocked valves in
the hydraulic circuit.
2. The motor does not
generate enough
torque, because the
working pressure is
too low.
3. Free recirculation
of oil to reservoir
being allowed
through system.
4. Mechanical
transmission block.
5. Pump is not
delivering sufficient
pressure or volume.

Suggested Solution (s)
Check the circuit to
determine the
correct piping.
1. Check system pressure
and reset the
relief valve.
2. Check the pressure
level in the system and,
if necessary, correct the
setting of the pressure
limit valve.
3. Directional control
valve may be in open,
center, or neutral, or
other return line may
be open. Repair or
replace valve.
4. Check the pressure
in the system. If the
pressure has exceeded
the limit of the safety
valve, remove the load
from
the transmission.
5. Check pump delivery
and pressure.
