Troubleshooting
The DCFIT interface is very easy to use. Nevertheless, some problems may arise during installation,
configuration or use.

REMEDY
• Supply power to the DCFIT. Check
wiring.
• Dip3 on SW1 must always remain in
the OFF position during normal
DCFIT operation
• Check that JP1 and JP2 Jumpers are
in position A. Check the status of the
dip switches (appropriate baud rate
and load on RS485 inserted).
• Configure the matrix in Current loop
with an appropriate baud rate
• Configure the keyboard with OSM
Video (SW164OSM) protocol and an
appropriate baud rate. Insert the load
on the RS485 video line of the
keyboard.
• Check wiring
• Check that JP1 and JP2 Jumpers are
in position A. Check the status of the
dip switches (appropriate baud rate
and load on RS485 inserted).
• Set the dip switches of the matrix for
a protocol of Videotec OSM type with
baud rate equal to that of the
keyboard and the DCFIT.
• Configure
the
communications
in
matrix of On screen menu type and
appropriate baud rate.
• Check wiring.
• Check that JP1 and JP2 Jumpers are
in position B. Check the status of the
dip switches (appropriate baud rate
and load on RS485 inserted). Dip 2
must always be in the On position
when 9600 baud communication is
used.
• Set the dip switches of the matrix for
a Videotec switcher type protocol with
baud rate equal to that of the
keyboard and the DCFIT.
• Configure the keyboard with an
appropriate baud rate.
• Check wiring
• Check that the JP1 and JP2 Jumpers
are in position B. Check the status of
the dip switches (appropriate baud
rate and load on RS485 inserted).
• Configure the keyboard with 9600 b/s
baud rate and a Videotec switcher
type protocol.
• Check wiring.
