1. 1. IntRodUctIon
The EnOcean Sensor Module USB key is a USB peripheral for the Somfy Home Automation Box which makes this
box compatible with EnOcean equipment, such as Dimplex ventilation, Eltako electrical consumer sensors and the
EnOcean electrical ON/OFF plug.

2.1. Safety and responsibility
Before installing and using this product, please read this guide carefully.
This Somfy product must be installed by a professional motorisation and home automation installer, for whom this
guide is intended. The installer must also comply with the current standards and legislation in the country in which
the product is being installed, and inform his customers of the operating and maintenance conditions relevant to the
product.
Any use outside the field of application specified by Somfy is forbidden. This invalidates the warranty and discharges
Somfy of all liability, as does any failure to comply with the instructions given herein.
Before starting installation, contact your Somfy advisor to check the compatibility of this product with the associated
equipment and accessories.
2.2. Specific safety advice
To avoid damaging the product:
1) Avoid dropping or impacts.
2) Do not spill liquid on it or immerse it in liquid.
3) Do not use abrasive products or solvents to clean it.
1. 3. PReReQUISIte
The installation must have a Somfy Home Automation Box and at least one item of EnOcean equipment.
1. 4. commISSIonIng
The Somfy Home Automation Box must be powered on and connected to the internet to be able to use the
EnOcean Sensor Module.
Connect the EnOcean USB key to the Somfy Home Automation Box (USB socket at the rear of the unit).

Caution: A green LED on the USB key should light up to confirm that the Sensor Module is powered on. If
necessary, it can be connected to a Hub.
2) To connect EnOcean equipment to the Somfy Home Automation Box, use the interface on the box and select
configuration mode, represented by the gear symbol.
Click on the "EnOcean" tab, then on "Add".

Follow the procedure shown on the screen.

3) To control the EnOcean equipment, go to "My Home" and select the EnOcean equipment that you have already
added e.g. the Eltako sensor (used for reading your electricity consumption).

Operating temperature: 0°C to +50°C.
Its surface can be cleaned using a soft damp cloth.
