Installing/changing the
cutting discs
Information on changing the
cutting discs:
You can mount a minimum of 2 and
a maximum of 5 cutting discs on your
wall chaser.
Always ensure that at least one
spacer disc is placed between the cut-
ting discs.
Regardless of the desired groove
width, all 5 spacer discs (19) must
be fitted when using 2 to 4 cutting
discs (7)
Caution! Only fit 4 spacer discs (19)
when using 5 cutting discs (7).
Ensure that the rotation speed stated
on the grinding disc (7) is the same or
higher than the nominal rotation speed
of the device.
Ensure that the grinding disc dimen-
sions match those of the device.

Only use flawless grinding discs (ring-
ing test: when you strike the grinding
disc with a plastic hammer, it results in
a clear sound).
Never re-drill a locating hole which is
too small to make it larger.
Never use separate bushings or adapt-
ers in order to make grinding discs with
a hole that is too large fit the device.
Do not use any saw blades.
Only replace the cutting discs in
pairs.
How to assemble when using
2 cutting discs:
1. Insert the cutting disc (7) onto the drive
shaft (18).
Make sure that the direction arrow on
the cutting disc (20) matches the direc-
tion arrow on the protective hood (10) .
2. Set the desired cutting width by select-
ing the spacer discs (19). Push them
onto the drive shaft (18).
3. Insert the two cutting disc (7) onto the
drive shaft (18)
Make sure that the direction arrow on
the cutting disc (20) matches the direc-
tion arrow on the protective hood (10) .
4. Put all remaining spacer discs (19) onto
the drive shaft (18).
5. Insert the pressure disc (8) onto the
drive shaft (18).
6. Tighten the hexagon bolt (9), anti-
clockwise, with an open-ended span-
ner AF 14 (16). Hold the pressure
disc (8) in place with the open-ended
spanner AF 30 (17).
7. Check the cutting discs (7) are fitted
correctly. The cutting discs are fitted
correctly when they turn freely. Dam-
