11 Disposal
NOTICE
• Dismounting may only be carried out by qualified personnel (in Germany see TRBS 1203).
• Observe the operating instructions of the welding components and welding torch.
• Observe the information given in the following chapter:
7 Putting out of operation on page EN-13.
Dismount the ABIDRIVE CW using the following procedure:
1 Dismount intermediate cable assembly.
2 Dismount cable assembly along with cold wire feed.
11 Disposal
For the ABIDRIVE CW to be properly disposed of, they must be dismounted, first.
See 10 Dismounting on page EN-15
For disposal, observe the local regulations, laws, provisions, standards and guidelines.
11.1 Materials
This product is mainly made of metallic materials which can be melted in steel and iron works and are, thus,
almost infinitely recyclable.
The plastic materials used are marked in preparation for sorting and separation of the materials for later
recycling.
11.2 Consumables
The ABIDRIVE CW itself does not contain any consumables.
Oil, greases and cleaning agents must not contaminate the ground or enter sewage systems. These materials
must be stored, transported and disposed of in suitable containers. Observe the relevant local regulations
and disposal instructions of the safety data sheets specified by the manufacturer of the consumables.
Contaminated cleaning tools (brushes, rags, etc.) must also be disposed of in accordance with the
information provided by the manufacturer of the consumables.
11.3 Packaging
ABICOR BINZEL has reduced the packaging for shipping to a minimum. Packaging materials are always
selected with regard to the possibility of their recycling.
