5.7 Feeding in the wire

Bodily harm caused by the beginning of the wire.
• Keep cold wire feed at the torch head away from the body.

1 Open cover at the ABIDRIVE CW .
2 Fold pressure lever (1) forward and open pressing rolls (2) .
3 Untie beginning of wire at the wire spool and debur it at the front end.
4 Insert wire through the liner (3) over the driving rollers (4) into the central socket (5) .
5 Close pressing rolls (2) and fold pressure lever (1) into vertical position.
6 Press "Currentless wire feed". Wire is being fed through the cable assembly.
This completes the feeding of the inserted wire.
