Oil Checker
➤ Hold the sight glass (fig. 2 3, page 3) vertical (blue at the top).
➤ Slowly open the low-pressure shut-off valve (blue) (fig. 2 1, page 3) until
the refrigerant has been completely drawn out of the sight glass.
✓ The refrigerant flows back to the air conditioner.
➤ Close the low-pressure shut-off valve (blue).
➤ Turn the sight glass by 180° (red on top).

NOTICE!
If you open the shut-off valve too quickly, compressor damage is
possible.
➤ Open the low-pressure shut-off valve (blue) very slowly so that the refrig-
erant oil can be drawn out of the sight glass.
➤ Close both shut-off valves.
➤ Release the quick service couplings for the low-pressure and high-pres-
sure connections (fig. 1 4+5, page 3).
➤ Clean the hoses and the oil checker if necessary.

Cleaning the filter

NOTICE!
Before cleaning the filter, ensure that the sight glass is depres-
surized.
Evacuate the oil checker through the service connection
(fig. 2 7, page 3).
➤ Unscrew the sight glass in the depressurized state on the low-pressure
side.
➤ Remove the filter.
➤ Clean the sintered filter.
➤ Insert the filter.
➤ Screw the sight glass back together.
➤ Evacuate the oil checker after assembly through the service connection
(fig. 2 7, page 3).
