Fig.2: connecting the cable to the flush type loudspeaker
Connect two wires of the cable to terminals a and b of the flush type loudspeaker (see fig.2).
For simple systems with max. 20 internal telephones, this is sufficient. In case of a larger
system, it is advisable to also connect terminal P. This supplies the system with additional
power. A relay (10-835) can be connected to terminals P and R.
Remark: A 3-wire connection (a, b and P)is necessary in case a relay or an extension
(10-881) and/or over 20 internal units are connected. In all other cases, a 2-wire (a and b)
connection is sufficient.
Install the flush type loudspeaker behind a front plate with bell push buttons, in a letterbox...
Required mounting height for the loudspeaker: 140 to 150cm. The flush type loudspeaker
and the extension are provided with sufficient mounting holes for fixing (see fig. 1a and 1b).
The 2 supplied screws can be used as mounting screws for the central mounting holes (see
fig. 1a and 1b). The microphone is placed right under the loudspeaker but can be discon-
nected and set up at a distance of max. 250mm from the loudspeaker (see fig. 1a). In the
plate behind which the microphone and the loudspeaker are mounted, standard openings
must be provided in order to enable fluent communication.
In the wiring diagram below (see fig. 3), a connection of a possible Niko Access Control
system is shown.
