Attach the red cable with the positive terminal (+) of your car battery.
Attach the black cable to any metal part of the car chassis or motor.
Connect the orange wire to a switched power cord of the car stereo to be connected to this unit will control
the unit power on/off with the car stereo.
The switched power cord may be obtained an auto antenna cord of the car stereo.
This unit can be connected to any car stereo with high level outputs, common or separated ground outputs.
Connect the Speaker-Out cables of your car stereo to the supplied High Level adaptor as shown below.
Connect the HIGH LEVEL INPUT connector wires to the speaker level as in this diagram. Channels 3 and 4
use the color coding as shown. Use #18 or thicker stranded, insulated hookup wire.
Separated ground car stereo connection: Connect car stereo speaker output cables to the high level input
connector (+) and (-), right and left polarity.
Common ground car stereo connection: Connect car stereo speakers negative output cable to the high level
input connector to the two signs (-) and the remaining cables to (+) right and left.
Use the RCA outputs of your car stereo (if available) to conveniently connect the stereo to the AB-450, using
standard RCA cables. Make sure to connect the correspondingly marked inputs and outputs.
Connect the AUX input wires with RCA type pin jack as follows:
White to L Ch pre-output of the car stereo.
Red to R Ch pre-output of the car stereo.
Before connecting the pre-output of the car stereo or other unit, confirm the impedance or sensitivity to
match with this unit AUX input.
