TROUBLEShOOTING
wARNING! For your own safety, turn the switch off and remove the
plug from the power source outlet before troubleshooting your sander.
PROBLEM
Motor will not run
Machine slows down when sanding
excessive noise
sanding belt runs off the drums
Wood burns while sanding
PROBABLE CAUSE
Defective on/off switch
Defective power cable
Defective switch box
Burned out motor
Drive belt too tight
applying too much pressure on the
workpiece
Drive belt too tight
not tracking properly
sanding disc or belt is glazed with
sap
REMEDY
replace defective parts before
using the belt / disc sander again
replace defective parts before
using the belt / disc sander again
replace defective parts before
using the belt / disc sander again
any attempt to repair this motor
may create a hazard unless repair
is done by a qualified service
technician
