6. SHORT DESCRIPTION
• Connection of an external unit using a slave-installation is possible (up to 4)
• Connection of up to 5 external units 10-80 is possible (for up to 20 slave-installations)
• By forming a connection via the 10-803, speech connections within the slave-installations are possible, as well as a speech connection of another slave-
installation with the main external unit
• Status indication for the active connection with the slave-installation
• Maximum line resistance: 20 Ω
• Door opening function with integrated power supply: 12 V, 50 - 60 Hz / 2 A (door openers larger / equal to 6 Ω)
• Standard time to open door: 3 s, fixed setting
• Line and P-terminal are short-circuit resistant.
• Overload protection for P-conductor
• A speech connection can only be established with a main external unit by a slave-installation when the main external unit in question has previously sent a door call

8. CONNECTION OF THE MODULE
ATTENTION! By default, the operating mode is set to MASTER. In this operating mode no extra power supply or control unit may be
connected.
If a second 10-803 is placed in a parallel switch at the input, it must first be set in the operating mode SLAVE. If not, disruptions will occur in
the external unit lines.
• Connect the main external unit to bus terminals 23, 24, 25.
• The P-conductor's maximum load may not exceed 150 mA. If the maximum load of 150 mA is exceeded, the built-in thermal protection automatically switches
off the output. Once the overload has been removed and the protection has cooled, the output automatically switches back on again.
ATTENTION! Other lamps such as tubes may not be connected to the P-conductor!
