The operator of a load-bearing equipment is required to draw up operating instructions in accordance with §12
ArbSchG and §2 paragraph 1 of the BGV A1 Principles of Prevention. The guidelines for this are given in BGI
578.
Intended use
Under Directive 2006/42/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council of 17 May 2006 on machinery and
amending Directive 95/16/EC (new version), ProLux heavy-duty lifting gear is a load-lifting device.
For the purposes of this standard, heavy-duty hydro-lifting gear is a component or piece of equipment which is
not part of the hoist and which enables cars with a maximum total weight of 3500 kg to be lifted and loaded.
Only use the heavy-duty hydro charger for the purposes described in these operating instructions. Any other
use is not regarded as proper use.
