DANGER! Electric shock hazard!
The device can cause injuries due to improper installation!
Before installation and connecting the local power grid
specification should be compared with that of the device
(see rating plate). Connect the device only in case of
compliance!
Connect the device only to properly installed single
socket with protective terminal.

The electrical circuit in the socket must be secured to at least 16A. Only connect the
device directly to the wall socket; do not use any extension cords or power strips.

5.2 Operation

Before the first use
•
Before the first use of the appliance make sure that no packing materials or other
objects are in the toast slots.
•
Clean the appliance in accordance with the instructions in Section 6 „Cleaning".
Crumb drawer
CAUTION!
In order avoid damage or contamination of the device, always put into
operation with the inserted crumb drawer.

The extendable crumb drawer of the toaster is
located under the appliance. Toaster with 4 holes
has 2 crumb trays

Empty the crumb drawer regularly. To this aim pull
it from the device and remove the crumbs. Wipe the
crumb drawer with a soft moist cloth and dry it
thoroughly.

Make sure that the crumb drawer is inserted
completely in the opening provided for it
