TOOLS AND COMPONENTS REQUIRED
The following tools are needed to assemble and install the trailer jack:
• 9/16 in. Wrench x 2
• Wheel Chocks or Blocks
• Drill with 1/8 in. and 7/16 in. Drill Bits
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
The quick-stand extension fits over the end of your existing jack. You may need
to drill holes in the jack's extension tube if it is too small or doesn't have
existing holes to attach the quick-stand. You must drill holes in the quick-
stand's extension leg if you shorten it.
The jack must have a removable foot as the extension replaces it.
1.
Park the trailer on a level surface and chock or block the trailer wheels.
2.
Place Jack stands under the trailer's front frame or
behind the trailer coupler. Check that the trailer is
secure and will not move during installation.
3.
Fully retract the jack cylinder. The bottom of the
cylinder must be 13 in. above the ground for
installation (Fig. 1-1).
4.
Remove the foot (Fig. 1-2) from jack's extension tube.
5.
Drilling is required if the jack cylinder's bolt hole is too narrow or if it does
not have one (see Drilling Holes for the Quick-Stand).
