Configuring your computer
for DHCP
To access your terminal, you will need to use
the DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Proto-
col). Your terminal will contact a DHCP server,
which automatically assigns an IP address to
the computer connected to the Ethernet port.
To activate DHCP, follow the steps below:
Click Start
, then Control Panel and

Network and Sharing Center.
To display the network connections, click the

Change card settings link on the left-hand
side of the Network and Sharing Center
panel.
Right-click the connection you wish to

change, then click Properties
