The normal lifetime of our UV radiators is 10,000 to 14,000 operating
hours. At the latest, the radiators must be replaced after 14,000 operating
hours. Time for replacement of the UV radiator(s) will be indicated in
"UV Control II" by flashing of the operating hours-display (h). Flashing
of the indicator will commence as soon as the sum of on/off-switching
operations and operating hours exceeds 10,000. In a unit with more
than one radiator, all radiators should be replaced at the same time.
● Disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
● Close the shutoff valves.
● Loosen the two screws on the blue protective cap (12). Remove the
protective cap and disconnect the plug (11) from the radiator.
● Remove the UV radiator (10).
● Insert the new radiator and connect it, ensuring that the plug (11) is
12
correctly seated.
● Fit and secure the blue protective cap (12).
● Open the shutoff valves before and behind the system.
8
● Caution: after replacing the radiator(s), the operations-hour-counter
has to be reset (see the UV-Control II manual).
● The unit is now again ready for use.
