Manual cleaning

● Disconnect the power plug from the outlet.
● Close the shutoff valves.

● Open the drain valve and allow the water to run out.

● Loosen the two screws on the blue protective cap (12).
● Remove the protective cap and disconnect the plug (11) from the

UV radiator.

● Remove the UV radiator (10).
Bewades 80 W and 100 W:
● Unscrew the quartz glass tube retainer (9). Remove the rubber disc
(8) and unscrew the threaded union (7)
● Clean the radiatior protection tube with a soft cloth. If necessary, an
acid (such as citric acid) or a solvent (such as methylated spirits)
can be used.
● Insert the quartz glass tube (5), ensuring that it engages with the
lower guide in the irradiation chamber. Check that the O-Ring (6) is
correctly seated.

● Screw on the treaded union (7). Tighten it with the special wrench
from the bag of accessories. Place the rubber disc (8) and tighten

the quartz glass tube retainer (9).
Bewades 240 W and 320 W:
● Loosen and remove the locking screw (7) with the rubber disc (8).
● Pull out the quartz glass tube (5).
● Tighten the tensioning screw (7) and support ring (8) hand-tight and
tighten further using the special spanner from the bag of accessories
if necessary (a small gap remains between the tensioning screw and
the cover of the UV unit).
● Insert the radiator (10) and connect it to the plug (11) of the blue cap
(12). Ensure that the plug is correctly seated. Fit and secure the blue
protective cap (12).
● Open the shutoff valves and vent the unit (some models vent them-
selves automatically).
● The unit can now be put back into service.
