Telimat T 1
Boundary spreading for working widths 20 - 24m
To optimise pattern it is recommended that the fertiliser amount on the bounda-
ry spreading side is reduced by 30%.
Attention
When spreading with shutter operation "M" combined with a remote hydraulic
control, one-sided output reductions are not possible. Therefore, reduce fertili-
ser output by 30% on both sides.
If the symbol - - appears in one column of the Telimat T1 setting chart than the following is
valid:
a) Border spreading with the Telimat T1 is not possible because the spread pattern for field
spreading is virtually the same as for border spreading. The same applies for border
spreading from 20-24m.
c) This working width cannot be achieved.
Correcting the throwing width:
Values in the setting chart are only meant as guidelines. With variations in fertiliser quality, it
may be necessary to make corrections to the given settings.
To correct the Telimat T1 settings, it is normally only necessary to change the numbered
values to optimise the throwing width in relation to the edge of the field.
If the throwing width needs to be reduced from the value indicated in the setting chart, the
slide plate position, relative to the numbered scale, should be moved in the direction of
smaller numbers.
If a greater throwing width is required, then the slide plate must be moved towards higher
numbers.
With various fertiliser qualities, it may be necessary to change the guide plate relative to the
lettered scale. Here as well, by selecting smaller letters (corresponding to diminishing al-
phabetical order) the throwing width in both boundary and border spreading modes relative
to the field edge, will be reduced.
Adjustment
To adjust the slide plate relative to numbered scale only release the outer
Attention
positioning nut (Diagram12, Fig.25b)
If the guide plate relative to the lettered scale needs to be repositioned
both positioning nuts (Diagram 12, Figs 25a and 25b) need to be released.
Warning
Crushing danger when raising and
lowering the Telimat. Make sure no
one is standing near the Telimat
mechanism when operating
