6.3. Operate the Power Station GX with other power supply units

WARNING
Danger of short circuit, electric shock when changing the polarity in
connection with other power supply units – persons or equipment may be
endangered.
• Switch off the device (Power Station GX and the other power supply unit)
before starting assembly work.
• Take the device out of its transport bag.
• Use only the prescribed connecting cables.
• Ensure correct polarity between Power Station GX and the other power
supply unit PLUS (+) to PLUS (+), MINUS (-) to MINUS (-).
• Ensure tight fit of the cables on terminal and plug connections of the
individual poles before use. Any contact between the individual poles
PLUS-MINUS (+/-) must be ruled out.
• Make sure the device are standing reliably and no persons will stumble
over the cables.
We will not assume liability for damage to persons or material.
• Connect the connecting cable between the power supply units, e.g.
connecting module for Power Station GX and one further power supply
unit. (Use only cables which have been approved for the corresponding
supply. – See point "Accessories and Spare Parts").
NOTE
Pay attention to the input or connecting voltage DC 12V. The connecting
cable should not be longer than 2 m.
