The check function is enabled when the limit values are entered. To disable the function one should set the limit
values at zero.

The function is not valid when one enters a lower limit greater than the upper limit.

The check is enabled with a weight greater than the minimum weight (20d).
6.10 ENTRY OF ALPHANUMERIC TEXT
While the scale is being used it may be necessary to enter alphanumeric text, for example, the descriptions of the articles,
User ID (see section 7.4) and Scale ID (see section 7.5).
To enter the characters one uses the keys from 0 to 9.
By keeping one of the keys pressed, the characters shown on the key itself will scroll on the display, with intervals of about
a second: the first letter on the left and then the other letters to the right will appear. Release the key in order to stop on the
digit shown in that moment.
After having typed a character, the blinking cursor automatically advances of a position.
Functionality of the keys

Moves the blinking cursor to the left or to the right, respectively.
Examples:

To enter the "B" letter one should keep the "2" key pressed up until it is displayed.

To enter the number "3" one should press for an instant the "3" key and then release it.
6.11 ARTICLE DATABASE
The article database is made up of 100 stored positions, identified by an index from 0 to 99, each having 1 description of
20 characters each, a tare for each scale and an average piece weight.
6.11.1 ENTRY / MODIFICATION
To enter or modify a stored article:
- Enter or cancel the tare value on both scales selecting first the scale (see section 6.2) and then executing one of
the operations described in section 6.5.
- Set or cancel the average piece weight (see section 6.7).
- Press the PLU key.
- Enter the number of the memory storage to be entered or modified by using the numeric keys.
- Press the PST key.
- Enter the description of the article (see section 6.10)
- Press the TARE key to confirm. The active tares for each scale and the average piece weight will be linked to each
entered or modified article.
6.11.2 SELECTION
To select a stored article:
- Press the PLU key.
- Enter the number of the memory storage that is to be selected using the numeric keys.
- Press the PLU key.
The tares linked to each scale and the average piece weight will be automatically enabled.
6.12 FUNCTION OF AUTOMATIC TURN-OFF
The scale is fitted of a programmable automatic turn-off function, which allows to save energy in case of not using it
temporarily; the automatic turn-off starts functioning when the scale is unloaded (gross weight = 0) for the time (in
minutes) programmed in F1 oFF >> oFF step.
The values vary among:

03 3 minutes
05 5 minutes
15 15 minutes
30 30 minutes
