Push the socket with rubber retaining plate and screw the socket tightly onto the retaining plate using the supplied

nuts and screws:
a)
Pay special attention to the right position of rubber retaining plate,
b)
Put the cable set gently to avoid any folds and to secure it from possible wiping.
6.
Lead the end of the cable set marked L to the left hand taillight and remove the vehicle side socket enclosure of the
left hand taillight.
a)
Connect the vehicle-side 6-pole socket enclosure of the left hand taillight to the matching piece of the
cable set and lock it in place.
b)
Connect the remaining 6-pole socket enclosure of the cable set to the plug of the left hand taillight and
lock it in place.
7.
Lead the end of the cable set marked R to the right hand rear light and pull the vehicle-side 6-pole socket off the
right hand rear light assembly.
a)
Connect the vehicle-side 6-pole socket enclosure of the right hand taillight to the matching piece of the
cable set and lock it in place.
b)
Connect the remaining 6-pole socket enclosure of the cable set to the plug of the right hand taillight and
lock it in place.
c)
Connect the ring eyelets of the wires 2x brown (white /brown 2.5mm
ground point near the taillight (if necessary. Drill a 3-mm-hole and attach the leads using the supplied
sheet-metal screw. Do not treat the hole with anticorrosive primer).
d)
Plug the supplied module into the 14-pole socket of the cable set and attach the assembly at a suitable
spot using the M5x10 screw and cable binders. Take special care that moisture cannot penetrate the
module (danger of short-circuits).
Connecting the continuous current lead (module):

a)
Lay the long red lead along the roof beam on the right side of the vehicle. Continue along the a- column
down to the footwell in front of the seat.
b)
There, remove the battery cover and Lead the wire on to the battery.
c)
Connect the ring eyelet of the short red lead to terminal +30 of the battery.
d)
Insert the crimp plug into the fuse holder and lock it.
e)
Insert the cable led from point (b) into the engine compartment into the fuse holder and lock it.
f)
Insert the 15A fuse into the fuse holder and install the protective grid. Replace the battery cover.
