INTRODUCTION

1.1

Recommendation

This manual, together with the EC certificate of conformity, must be considered integral part of the machine and as such
be well conserved.
If ownership is transferred, it must be delivered to the last owner.
The following information, together with that contained in the engine manual, is supplied to make your work less tiring
and safer and keep your purchase in good state.
We recommend to read the instructions carefully before starting up. This will enable you to work safely and without
problems.

Safety warnings

In these operating instructions we have indicated all the points which concern safety with this symbol:
Warning symbol.
When you see this symbol, pay attention to the risk of accidents, read the following message carefully and inform the
other users.
Before use, get to know the machine by studying the operating instructions.
Make all the persons who work with the machine read the operating instructions.
The use of the machine is not permitted to persons under 16 years of age. The operator is responsible towards third
parties in the work zone of the machine. The supplied protective devices must be used.

Provided conditions of use

The machine was designed to cut grass and small shrubs in farms or forests, driven by a single competent operator.
Consequently, its use in different conditions or for different purposes from those provided will be considered incorrect.
The machine can work in all the slope conditions provided by the engine constructor provided that the operator is
always able to govern the machine with a good safety margin, for himself and those around him.
The provided protections comply with the ENI2733 community standard.
They were designed taking into consideration, in particular, all the safety of the operator who, in normal driving
conditions, cannot be reached by direct projection of stones or other objects launched by the rotating system. He must
therefore always remain in the normal driving position, behind the machine, with both hands firmly placed on the grips.
WARNING: the manoeuvring position can only be abandoned with engine switched off and all
members immobile.

Controls

Throttle
The throttle is situated on the control panel of the handlebar. Besides regulating the engine revs, it controls the
switching off of any starter. For its use read the operating manual of the engine.
Speed selector
(Only available on ProSpeed version)
The control is situated on the rear part of the machine.
The speed selection takes place in the following manners:
1. Slow speed: knob pushed to the bottom towards the machine.
2. Intermediate speed: knob at half stroke.
3. Fast speed: know pulled completely towards the operator.
Feed control
It is situated on the left end of the handlebar. When the lever is pushed down, traction is
couplet and the machine starts to move forward; when it is released, the machine is in
idle position.
Reverse gear control
(Only available on ProSpeed version)
It consists of the lower lever situated on the left end of the handlebar.
When it is pulled up the machine moves back; when it is released, the machine is in idle
position.
WARNING: do not use this control together with the feed control, in order not to damage the transmission
members.
