3. Turn the mounting brackets and tighten them fully. The
orientation of the mounting brackets depends on how
thick the countertop surface is.
For countertops between 2" (50 mm) and 2¾"
(70 mm) thick, insert a wooden block between the end
of the adjusting screw and the bottom of the
countertop.
Note: Do not overtighten adjusting screw.

NOTICE: Do not use silicone to glue the cooktop to the
countertop surface.
For Flush Installation:
1. Complete the normal installation of the appliance
making sure that it is surrounded by a uniform slot.
The cooktop surface should be slightly below the
countertop surface.
For tiled countertops, raise the supporting surfaces
with water- and temperature-resistant strips, if
necessary.
2. Check the operation and position of the appliance.
3. Fill the gap between the countertop and the cooktop
with conventional silicone sealant in the desired color.
Note: Unsuitable silicone sealant used on natural
stone surfaces can lead to discolorations that cannot
be removed. Follow the manufacturer’s instructions for
the silicone sealant.
4. Smooth the silicone sealant with a wet and soapy
scraper or finger before it forms a layer.
