Ensure that the electrical connection is protected against water splashing.
• When operating outdoors, the electrical connections must be splash-proof; they must not lie in
water.
• When using extension cords, ensure they have sufficient wire cross section; cable drums must be
complete unwound.
V. OPERATION
5.1- Intended use
- The product is intended for personal use
• Starts and stops the pump in accordance with the opening and closing of the services.
• Maintains a constant pressure during delivery.
• Stops the pump in case of any water shortage, thus protecting it from dry running.
• Require little maintenance.
5.2- Operating the Automatic Control
A panel is mounted on the front of the device which displays all the operating phases of the system by
means of LED lights:
- 3.b LED = units Power on,
- 3.c LED = Failure
- 3.d = Pump on.
When connecting to the electrical mains, the "Power ON" LED turns on then the "Pump ON" LED
indicating the start-up of the pump.
The latter LED remains in operation for a few seconds in order to allow the system to build up
pressure.
If this time is not sufficient, the "Failure" LED will turn on; in this case keep the red "Reset" button
pressed and wait with a service (e.g. tap) open until the red light turns off.
After the service (e.g. tap) is closed, the device stops the pump and goes into standby mode, the
"Power ON" LED lights on, ready to carry out in complete autonomy all the subsequent command
and control operations.
On opening a service (e.g tap, watering...), the device starts the pump which remains in operation for
as long as the service itself is opened.
After the service has been closed, the device restores maximum pressure to the system, then stops the
pump and returns to the standby mode.
In the event of water shortage during aspiration, the device identifies the failure and signals it with
the red light "Failure", and stops the pump protecting it from dry running.
Once the causes of a blockage have been removed, press the red Reset button to restore normal
operation.
In the case of a temporary power outage the device will automatically restart as soon as the electricity
returns.
