Thank you for having chosen the KÜCHENPROFI fondue set. This device
is a high-quality product and complies with the recognized rules of
technology and the Equipment Safety Law.
Important information
Please read through these operating instructions carefully prior to
operating the fondue set for the first time and store it in a safe place.
Pay particular attention, in your own interest, to the safety information in
order to avoid accidents and malfunctions. Improper use, application or
insufficient cleaning and care can impair safety and result in danger for
the user. KÜCHENPROFI cannot accept any responsibility for injuries or
damage attributed to improper use.
Safety Instructions
1. If this device is given to other persons, ensure that these operating
instructions are also handed over.
2. We accept no responsibility for any damages that occur due to
improper use or incorrect handling. This device is only intended for
household use. Do not use this appliance outside.
3. Please first check whether the type of current and supply voltage
match the information on the data plate.
4. Do not touch either the warmer or the power plug with wet or damp
hands.
5. Never use power outlets, with which other devices are already being
operated.
6. Never operate the fondue set unsupervised and use it for the
intended purpose only.
7. This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and
above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been
given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in

a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user
maintenance shall not be made by children.
8. Children shall not play with the device.
9. Never operate this device with an external timer or a separate
remote control system.
10. Only operate the fondue set on a sufficiently water and heat
resistant, level and stable surface and not in the vicinity of hot stoves,
gas flames or other sources of heat. Make sure that there is enough
space next to and above the fondue set. Protect sensitive surfaces
from splashes that may occur.
11. ttention: The warmer has to be placed firmly on the surface.
Make sure that it stands level on all four feet.
12. ttention: Never fill the fondue pot above the M X mark to keep
it from overflowing and prevent splashes of hot liquid - burn hazard!
13. Caution: Using the fondue set results in high temperatures. Use heat
resistant oven gloves, if needed. Do not move the warmer as long
as the fondue pot is placed on top. Please do not pull on the cable
to move the device. Lift the warmer and place it on the desired
location.
14. Do not allow the power cord to dangle and place the device in a
way that no one can fall over the cord.
15. Ensure that no foreign bodies (paper, dishtowels, etc.) are touching
the heating plate.
16. Use the included fondue pot only. This ensures that the pot is firmly
seated on the warmer.
17. Remove the mains plug every time after use, and also:
– in the event of malfunctions whilst in operation,
– every time that it is being cleaned
Please do not pull on the connecting lead but on the plug itself.
18. Check the power cord before every use for damage.
