INSTALLATION
Before to start the installation follow the general warning. Moreover:
- Check the WLL of the hoist to verify if the capacity is correct.
- Check that the load chain is not twisted and it is correctly installed.
Only after completion of preliminary checks it will be possible to
connect the hoist at the anchoring point and perform the following
checks:
- Check that the hoist is correctly suspended by its suspension hook
and that the latch is completely closed.
- Check that the loading chain has not subject to any torsion when
setting up.
- Check the correct functionality of up and down functions without
apply the load.
- If the hoist is installed on mobile anchoring devices (i.e. suspension
trolley), check the correct functionality of these devices.
After successfully completing these checks, place the load in position
and ensure:
- The connecting device of the load sits fully in the loading hook and
that is possible to close completely the latch.
- The load on the hoist is free to align itself with the hoist's anchoring
point.
OPERAZIONI
For the adjustment of the load chain length, is necessary to proceed
as follow:
- Set the selector lever for the movement in neutral position "N" (Fig.
2a - Fig. 3a).
- Turn the knob anti-clockwise to open the brake; the chain is
released.
- If is not possible to turn the knob, put the selector lever in position
down "D" (Fig. 2c – Fig. 3c) and pull the hook holding chain
downwards; then, place the selector lever again in "N" and pull on
the released chain using the low limit stop.
- Secure the lifting hook to the load to be lifted or pulled or to the point
where the tension will be applied. Apply a slight tension to the chain
by pulling on the low limit stop.
- Turn the knob clockwise; the brake is closed and the chain is now
engaged in the hoist.
Operating the hoist:
- To lift, pull or tension, put the selector lever in position up "U" (Fig.
2b) and operate the actuating lever back and forth.
Note: for size with overload protection system, is not possible to lift if
the load is greater than 1,5 x WLL, or to apply a tension with a force
greater than 1,5 x WLL.
Repeated actuations of overload protection system can
damage itself, decreasing the load limitation threshold.
- To lower or to loose, put the lever in position "D" and operate the
actuating lever back and forth.

Important:
Taking the hoist out of service, ensure that there is not load applied
and that the load chain is loose enough to enable the bottom hook
to be removed from the load.
Never left the selector lever in the in "N" position when there is
suspended load or applied tension on the hoist.
Make sure that the selector lever is in the desired position and
not between two positions.
Do not operate the knob when operating the hoist or when the
chain is tensioned.
To prevent uneven movement of the load, it is not
recommended to operate the lever handle at excessive speed.
To prevent jerking of the load, it is reccomended to operate the
actuating lever with steady movement.
