Reference points
Magnetic tapes are available for various referent point
functions.
Order positions L1, L2, L3 are defined in the
type code (see section 7).
Pole-periodic magnetic tape
For sensor heads with pol-periodic reference point function
an incremental tape without reference points is used (see
Fig. 3-3).
