Installation and regulation
of power tool elements
Before carrying out any works on the power tool it
must be disconnected from the mains.
Mounting / dismounting / setting-up of
some elements is the same for all power
tool models, in this case specific models
are not indicated in the illustration
Mounting / replacement of sanding sheet (see fig. 1)
Prior to mounting on the sanding sheet 8,
ensure that the given sanding sheet is
suitable for the specific power tool model
(proper dimensions and dust removal ap-
ertures are present).
• Position the power tool so that sanding plate 5 is
pointed upwards
• Loosen the holders 6 as shown in figure 1.1.
• In case of replacement remove the worn out abra-
sive paper 8
• Put new sanding sheet 8 to sanding plate 5 (see
fig. 1.2). Follow the rules below:
• abrasive sputter of the paper 8 should be on
the top side (the paper 8 should touch the grinding
plate 5 with the smooth side);
• apertures in sanding sheet 8 must match the dust
removal apertures on sanding plate 5
• Bend the edges of the abrasive paper 8 so that they
are situated under the holders 6 (see fig. 1.3).
• Fix one edge of the abrasive paper 8 with the hold-
er 6, and then pull the other edge and fix it with the
other holder 6 (see fig. 1.4).
Caution: the abrasive paper 8 should be
pressed tight to the grinding plate 5, and
dust extraction holes of the abrasive pa-
per 8 and the grinding plate 5 should fit
together.
Mounting / dismounting of the dust bag (see fig. 2)
[ESS02-187 T]
• To mount, attach the slot of dust bag 9 to the dust
removal port 4 (see fig. 2.1).
