Switching the appliance ON/OFF
Switch on the appliance by moving the ON/OFF switch (7) to

"I". The power indicator (8) lights up and the brewing process
begins. After the brewing process, the hot plate (6) keeps the
coffee in the coffee jug (5) warm for 2 hours.
Switch on the appliance by moving the ON/OFF switch (7) to

"O". The power indicator (8) extinguishes.

After preparation

Carry out the following work after each use of the appliance in
order to retain proper function of the appliance and prevent mould
from forming:
WARNING
Danger of burning!
Observe the following safety precautions to avoid burning your-
self.
Allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning.

Open the lid of the filter compartment (3).

Remove the filter insert (4) with the filter bag from the filter

compartment (3).
Dispose of the filter bag and clean the filter insert (4) and the
‹
drip-stop.

NOTE
You can interrupt the brewing process at any time by
moving the ON/OFF switch (7) to the "O" position.
The appliance automatically switches itself off after 2
hours if you do not switch off the appliance yourself.
To switch on the appliance again after automatic
switching off, move the ON/OFF switch (7) to the "O"
position before moving it to the "I" position.
