PROBLEM
Motor stops while

RECOMMENDED ACTIONS
Undercut limb to relieve pressure on limb.
If extension cord is damaged, do not use and replace it.
If chainsaw cord is damaged, do not use and contact an
approved service location.
Set the front hand-guard to the operating position.
Plug in the saw
If extension cord is damaged, do not use it but replace it.
If chainsaw cord is damaged, do not use it but contact an
approved service location.
Plug extension cord into a different outlet.
Set the front hand-guard to the operating position.
Press the trigger lock-out before squeezing the trigger
switch
Unplug the chainsaw, then remove side cover and clean
out debris.
Clean debris from external chain brake mechanism.
WARNING: Operating a chainsaw without a functioning
chain brake could lead to serious personal injury. Contact an
approved service location before using.
Reinstall the chain, making sure the drive links on the chain
are fully seated on the drive sprocket.
Replace the guide bar.
Tension the chain.
Sharpen the chain.
Install the chain with the teeth facing the correct direction.
Replace the chain.
Check the oil level. Refill oil reservoir if necessary.
Reset chain onto groove.
Properly install side cover ensuring the tab at rear of side
cover is tucked into saw body.
Check the oil level. Refill oil reservoir if necessary.
